Super fun to see the Scottish premiere of Recovery at @big_bike_film_night in Peebles tonight, a film @jimmytheexploder1 and I made about Trail Therapy, a @scottishcycling & @dmbins initiative to study the mental health benefits of mountain biking.The concept hit surprisingly close to home and it was a lovely project shoot, not least because we had the most insanely beautiful weather at @nevisrange for filming on Blue Doon.If you’re a mountain biker that’s ever ridden in Scotland, please consider donating to the Scottish MTB Health Fund on the @dmbins website.✌️

Seeing @dukesweekender & @gravelfoyle go fully into the #hillclimb hype is always fun to witness. It’s one of the most inclusive and accessible ways to race bikes and Scotland chronically lacks this type of racing (I think there’s less than a handful of registered @cyclingtimetrials events up here). Also more #gravel hill climbs please.Even though I wasn’t racing, filming Dukes Weekender was the next best thing for me to see faces I haven’t seen for a long time, engage with the local cycling community and motivate me to get my racing legs back for next season…maybe.Full edit over on the @dukesweekender page.—@santacruzbicycles_uk @enduraofficial @wildernesstrailbikes @tradstocks_westwood @event_scotland

Filming some aerials of the Trossachs and Aberfoyle to highlight it as one of the best #gravelcycling destinations in the UK has been a dream job since getting my drone operator’s licence last year.It’s been fantastic to get back into the cycling video production world with the @cyclingweeklymagazine video team (and the riders of @kerrymacphee, @katherinebikes and @rupert94) and I can’t wait to see how good they make the Trossachs look.
